About SilverLabs

SilverLabs builds privacy-first infrastructure. SilverLined is the service that runs on it: websites, mail, VPN and managed servers for people and small businesses who would rather not hand their data to a hyperscaler.

How we work

• We run what we build. Every product on this site is in production for our own estate before it is offered to anyone else.
• Data first. Every change is recorded in the database and carried out as a job by an agent, so any server can be rebuilt from its record instead of from memory.
• Open standards. WireGuard, ACME, OIDC, IMAP and SMTP rather than proprietary lock-in; you can take your data and leave.
• Few moving parts. We would rather own a small, understood stack than rent a large, opaque one.

Where we are

We are based in the United Kingdom. Production runs in European data centres, with the status page served from separate infrastructure so it stays up when the rest does not.
